English/Writing - Coon
Rapids Campus
Academic Support Center, Fall 2009
Writing tutors can help you with writing in any subject area and at any stage in the writing process, from brainstorming to a final draft. Our goal is to make you a better writer overall, not just to “fix” an individual piece of writing, so we will work with you on correcting your patterns of error and suggest strategies for revising your work that can be applied to more than just one piece of writing. Writing tutors are not just for people struggling with writing; writers at any level can benefit from talking with a trained reader who can listen well and make suggestions. Tutoring is free and no appointment is necessary. Writing tutors do not comment on papers over e-mail. For more information, please click here to visit the Writing Center's website.
An "X" in the box indicates that a tutor is available. If the student tutor is not available when you come in, please see Hannah Kaplan, the coordinator of the Writing Center, in SC 102.
Please bring your assignment sheet along with a copy of your draft. |
