Mission
The mission of the Anoka-Ramsey Advising Office at Anoka-Ramsey Community College is to empower students to actively seek out resources to successfully complete their educational goals. Academic Advising provides a safe and respectful environment to collaborate with students on course selection, understanding degree requirements, and preparing for degree completion or credit transfer to other academic institutions.

Appointments
30 minute appointments with Academic Advisors are available for transfer preparation, course planning, and graduation checks.

Walk-In Advising
Convenient walk-in advising is available for quick questions (5 minutes or less). Students check-in at the Information Desk and are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. The length of wait time will vary. Students may be asked to schedule an appointment for more detailed planning with an Academic Advisor.

**Please note that walk-in advising times at both campuses are subject to change due to various advising events. Please call ahead for availability if you are planning on coming to campus for the sole purpose of seeing an Academic Advisor for walk-in advising. Currently, there are no walk-in advising hours available on Wednesdays at the Coon Rapids campus.
