Safety and security is provided to Anoka-Ramsey Community College students, faculty and staff on a proactive basis with an emphasis on crime prevention that considers the rights and dignity of everyone.
Coon Rapids Campus
Anoka-Ramsey Community College provides security services, including security escort services, through General Security Services, Inc., Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Coon Rapids Campus.
The Coon Rapids Police Department Reserves provide evening security from 6:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. They patrol the buildings and grounds and provide security escort services. The regular Coon Rapids Police patrol the outside grounds on a periodic basis during the late evening hours and during the period Friday night through the week end and holidays.
Cambridge Campus
General Security Services Inc., provides security at our Cambridge Campus Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The regular Cambridge Police Department patrols the outside grounds on a periodic basis during the late evening hours and during the period Friday night through the week end and holidays.
