The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Golden Rams Women’s Basketball program at the Coon Rapids Campus was established in the early 70’s. The team competes in the Minnesota Collegiate Athletic Conference (MCAC).
Tryouts: September
Training: Begins in August
Practices: Six days a week, two hours a day
Season: October to March
Facilities: Two high performance basketball courts for practices and conditioning; 5000 square foot fitness center for strength and fitness development.
Awards: Seven National Championships; 12 National tournament appearances; 12 Region Championships; 11 State tournament Championships; 12 Division Championships; 19 All-Americans players; 26 All Region players
Message from the Coach: The Women’s Basketball team is one of the most established and competitive teams at Anoka-Ramsey Community College. To date, 67% of our players have received scholarship offers to continue their basketball career after leaving our program.
