Classroom Technology

There is a variety of instructional technology and audio/visual equipment available in classrooms, the Information Technology department is in the process of updating the instructional technology in rooms to provide uniformity and consistency between rooms.

Smart Classrooms

Classrooms designated as “Smart Classroom” have the following equipment that are controlled with a “room controller” (also known as an Extron black box or Crestron touch screen).

I - Interactive Television
E - Extron Control System (Black Push Button Box)
C - Crestron Control System (Touch Screen Monitor)

Multimedia Classrooms

Classrooms designated as Multimedia Classrooms have the varying degrees of equipment that utilize remote controls which are not controlled with a “room controller” (also known as an Extron black box or Crestron touch screen).

No Classroom Technology

These classrooms have currently do not have any technology installed. IT staff members typically deliver equipment to these classrooms
