Dr. Maryan McCormick, wife of Chancellor McCormick, was a guest on the Coon Rapids Campus, April 24, to observe a glassblowing demonstration. Instructors Eric Dahlberg and Bob Toensing also assisted Maryan as she created a glassblown paperweight. |

Ceramics Raffle & Sale
Mark Lambert, art faculty member created more than a hundred ceramic pieces for a raffle and sale, May 8, designed to raise funds for an art scholarship. |

Student Creativity
A student reads a piece he wrote that was published in "The Rapids Review" — a literary and art journal by students from the Coon Rapids Campus. "The Spirit River Review" is the literary journal that includes works by students, staff and faculty from the Cambridge Campus. |

Construction
The new two-story courtyard infill construction project on the Coon Rapids Campus is progressing and scheduled to be complete by spring semester 2009. Plans to for a welcoming, park-like outdoor courtyard are also underway. |
