Placement Test Dates

Placement tests last approximately two (2) hours. You are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in on the day of your test. Remember: Students planning to attend ARCC are advised to apply for admission before taking the placement tests. You may experience problems in registering for courses if you take the placement tests before you apply for admission.

Retest Information:

• You may not register to retake tests using the online sign up.  Instead, call the Information Center (Cambridge campus 763.433.1840, Coon Rapids campus 763.433.1240).
• You must wait at least two (2) weeks from your previous test date to retest.
• Only one retest on each subject is allowed per semester.
• Retest fees are $5 fee per session and must be paid at the Business Office prior to the retest.

Select your preferred placement test date/time at the Coon Rapids campus.

To change your test date, simply select a new date and complete the sign up information. Your previously scheduled test date will be canceled.

Or simply confirm details of your test date without canceling your original sign up.

Note: Please inform us if you need to cancel your registration. If you do not cancel and do not show up, you have taken away the opportunity for someone else to test.
